Just the little things

So Justin and I have been both sick this week. And the boys made waste of the apartment in the meantime. We have recovered and cleaned back up or reclaimed the house this weekend so all is good. 

We have otherwise enjoyed the week.  We did get some sunshine on Monday. And then allot of cold cold air and storms. It's all about focusing in on the little things! Like our little humming bird friend whom we love. Justin says he can still take a better picture later, but I thought I'd add this one now so you all could feel our excitement.

I really need to work on getting the camera out more. The boys had so much fun outside with some squirt guns that Dad (Justin) got them from the store. Justin got to wash the car and Brent loved helping him. Then Brent and Andrew squished their feet in the mud left by the rain. I was unusually tired and weak today, but I still enjoyed the weather. I just didn't take any walks. I enjoyed talking to family on the phone. I'm still really sad I missed the graduation and getting to see family, but I'm not really as grudging as I thought I would be. I've never really been that great at holding grudges anyway and it's really exhausting. I'm just trying to focus on us finishing school. Joshua is moving allot. :) I'll try to post another picture next time. 

I thought I would add the lovely flowers Justin gave me for Mother's Day! Yeah that was like Saturday and they don't exactly look the same as they did then. ;) 

I am  EXTREMELY Bummed about not getting to go to Malissa's Graduation AND I'm afraid that for some things like this I do tend to hold firm grudges..... I could work on that but I don't want to right now (or anytime soon). I miss my family and always look forward to seeing them especially at family gatherings and special occasions which I regard the Highest and Most Important part of our lives......there is NO small emphasis on that. 

I won't really get over it, but I will abide my time and try try try very hard not to 'grit my teeth'. 

Well, enjoy the flowers I did....... for a while. ;)

Justin and I are doing great! I'm still working on getting him to let me get a real family picture together, but maybe I can post an old one. ;)
